Establishement
Holland Car P.L.C is a joint venture company established in 2005 by Engineer Tadesse Tessema, an Ethiopian national and a Dutch company Trento BV, Engineering.  Initial capital was 11,000,000.00 (Eleven Million) Br., which is equally shared between  the two partners. The company was the first of its kind in Ethiopia.
Objective
The main objective of the company is to assemble cars for local (Ethiopian) and export markets which are environmentally friendly, fit for the local conditions of the country, and economical
Back Ground
Tadesse Tessema, an engineer by profession used to live in the Netherlands. He would travel to Ethiopia now and then, and discovered that there was demand for cars in Ethiopia. So he created a company named Ethio-Holland which imported used Lada cars from Holland
